What is counselling?

Psychotherapeutic counselling is a process designed to help you talk about your thoughts and feelings and give you a safe space to reflect and work through the problems you might be facing in your life, with support and encouragement.

It aims to support you to reach inner positivity, self-understanding and develop healthier strategies when facing challenging situations. You may seek counselling at times of struggle, feeling sad, stuck, at a crossroad in life or because you have experiences of trauma.

It could also be that you would like to personally grow, improve your relationships with others and get to know yourself better. Counselling can help you process the hard times and learn from them as well as enjoy and cherish your good experiences.

It doesn’t need to be a choice between break-through or break-down. Its about getting to know yourself so that you can live rationally, consciously and in your own best interests.
