I will do all I can to ensure confidentiality and anonymity for clients. Whilst I use an internet security and malware checker on my computers, I am unable to totally guarantee that emails or Zoom sessions are 100% secure. If you have any concerns regarding this, please raise them with me, otherwise I will assume that you understand the risks when using email, Zoom or the telephone and have agreed to them.

Likewise, due to the non-secure nature of email, I cannot ensure the confidentiality of this communication. Please use discretion when sending information that is sensitive in nature.

I use high speed broadband and am connected to a fibre optic network but sometimes the internet connection can break. If there is a poor connection, it may be necessary for me to call you back to establish a better connection. Failing that you have the choice to continue by phone for the duration of the remaining session.

Email and text contact between sessions will be for administrative purposes only. If you need to contact me, please use email unless it is urgent, in which case please call.

It is not always possible for me to reply immediately by text and email because I may be otherwise committed but I do check my phone periodically. Please do not take a delay in responding to reflect a lack of care or interest.

I do not operate an emergency therapy service or maintain 24-hour access to email accounts or voicemails. My phone will be switched off out of working hours, in the evenings and at weekends.
